WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a variety of options to best suit your needs.
Our interpreters are highly trained and nationally certified and have background and medical clearances. We will come to your doctor’s office, hospital, surgery center, clinic, and facility to bridge the communicative gap between you and your Limited English Proficient (LEP) patients. Our quality foreign language interpreters are hand-picked, tested and provided all the latest tools to ensure your on site interpretation is consistent, timely, natural and clear. We follow the guidelines established by the Joint Commission when hiring, shadowing, and reviewing our team members.
Translation & Localization
Whether you have a one-page medical release form or a lengthy project such as a medical manual for new patients, our translators guarantee satisfaction. Our written document translation follows a three step process to ensure your final product is accurate, efficient, and cost effective. Any project we complete for you will be translated, edited, and proofread by three separate language professionals.
As a leader in our field we are also an educating body. We provide 40 hour interpreter trainings backed by the International Medical Interpreter Association (IMIA) as well as additional continuing education classes for interpreters and translators. In addition, we provide Cultural Competency Training, and CEU credit workshops for Medical Professionals to learn how to work with a medical interpreter. Our classes have been approved by the Delaware Medical Society, Delaware Board or Nursing, Delaware Board of Pharmacy, National Commission on Healthcare Interpreting NCIHC and the International Medical Interpreting Association IMIA.
Our team also includes private tutors in many languages and will tailor their curriculum to your needs and goals. Whether you are planning a trip to a foreign country or hoping to hone your skills towards fluency in a foreign language, our tutors will work with you to achieve your goals quickly. Our curriculum follows a communicative approach and we use 21st Century Classroom Learning tools in our lessons. One-on-one, small group, Skype, and in-person sessions available!
