Our need to understand different cultures and languages is at its peak. In the midst of migration, trade in goods, information and technology, the growing interdependence of our economies and cultures has allowed human populations to connect through the most basic level – language. Human translators have been the center stone to our great success.
In recent years, however, technological advancements, especially artificial intelligence (AI), has led us to believe that the need for human translators will eventually fade away. Contrary to our beliefs, human translators will actually benefit and grow in the coming years with the growing use of technology.
